Coach Ellison is a dedicated educator and coach with over a decade of experience teaching mathematics, including five years at Gentry Schools. He is actively involved in multiple school and community initiatives, serving on the Health and Wellness Committee, PPC Committee, School Safety Team, and as a sponsor for Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). In addition to his professional responsibilities, he enjoys coaching youth sports through GYO, particularly his son's teams.

Now in his sixth year with the Gentry Track and Field program, Coach Ellison specializes in field events such as pole vault, shot put, and discus. His experience spans across all ages and event areas, reflecting his versatility and commitment to athlete development.

Coach Ellison and his wife, Brittany—who teaches 4th grade math at Gentry Intermediate—reside in Gentry with their three children: Tristan (3rd grade), Brielle (1st grade), and Trenton.
