Coach Courtney was born and raised in Gentry and is proud to call the community home. She graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Kinesiology and earned her coaching endorsement during that time. She and her husband, Dakota, currently reside in Gentry and are excited to welcome their first child, a daughter named Swayzie, in November.

She is entering her 11th year coaching girls basketball and has served as Head 7th Grade Coach, Head Junior High Coach, and Assistant Senior High Coach. During her time leading the junior high program, the team won back-to-back district tournament championships in 2019–2020 and 2020–2021.

Outside of basketball, Coach Courtney enjoys spending time with her family on their farm, where they raise beef cattle. Some of her favorite pastimes include summer evenings by the pool, grilling out, and cheering on the Razorbacks.
