Hannah Neal
Coach Hannah Neal, known to many as Coach Neal, brings a wealth of experience and passion for coaching to every team she works with. Born and raised in Springdale, Arkansas, Coach Neal’s deep ties to the community and her own athletic background set the foundation for her successful coaching career. As a proud alumni of Springdale High School, Coach Neal’s commitment to excellence in both sports and mentorship is rooted in her upbringing and family legacy. She shares a special place in the Springdale Hall of Fame alongside her father, Paul Neal, a testament to their combined impact on local athletics.
Coaching Experience
Coach Neal’s coaching journey began in 2017, where she served as the Assistant Junior High Basketball & Volleyball Coach, as well as the Assistant High School Volleyball & Softball Coach at Ashdown High School. This multi-sport experience helped her develop a versatile and adaptive coaching style that she carried with her throughout her career. From 2019 to 2021, Coach Neal continued to expand her coaching expertise at Mills Middle School, where she worked as the Assistant Volleyball and Basketball Coach for two years.
In 2021, she made the move to Rogers High School, where she took on the role of Assistant Softball Coach. Her leadership skills were further showcased in 2023 when she stepped into the Interim Head Coach position for the year, leading the team to impressive success. In recognition of her leadership, Coach Neal was named the 6A West Coach of the Year in 2023 and played a pivotal role in guiding her team to the Conference Championship in 2024.
Travel Softball Coaching
Beyond her high school coaching responsibilities, Coach Neal has been dedicated to developing young athletes through her work with travel softball. For the past three years, she has coached travel softball, currently coaching a 12U team at Legacy. Her commitment to coaching at all levels ensures that players receive the skills, discipline, and confidence they need to excel both on and off the field.

Coach Neal’s coaching philosophy centers around building strong relationships with her athletes and fostering a positive, growth-oriented environment. She believes in the power of teamwork, resilience, and discipline to help athletes achieve their full potential. Her ability to connect with players, encourage their development, and push them to perform at their best has made her a respected figure in the coaching community.
Personal Life
Outside of coaching, Coach Neal is an avid fan of the Razorbacks and the St. Louis Cardinals, with a passion for sports that extends well beyond her coaching career. She enjoys traveling, spending quality time with her family and friends, and caring for her dog, Mayze. These personal experiences continue to fuel her love for coaching and her drive to give back to the community.
